Manual Bilge Pump 

Operation: This is the basic model which requires an external switched feed to control it. It is On/off operation. I.e. a separate float valve is required or a manual on/off switch. There is no automatic function in this model. Do not leave running all the time in dry conditions. The pump should be off when there is no water present.

Timer Bilge Pump

Operation: This model has a built in 15 min timer where it switches on every 15 minutes and if no back pressure is detected (from water in the discharge pipe) then the unit assumes there is no water to be pumped and switches off. However, if a back pressure is detected then the unit will continue to pump until bilge pump is empty. Best used on boats where there is a persistent amount of water as continual on/off, when dry all the time, would result in excessive bearing ware.

Automatic Bilge Pump

Operation: High to Low water automatic sensing mode. Pump starts when water 4.5 cm and stops at 1 cm. This model has a built in electrical sensor to sense the presence of water at a certain level. It is designed to automatically come on and off as required to maintain the bilge level  with no external switching required.
